We launched the first environmentally friendly products in 1990 with our Envirotec® Series and continue to operate our company from the premise that our adhesives must exceed current environmental requirements regarding harmful chemical and VOC emissions. Consequently, more than half of our products are certified by Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, UL’s GREENGUARD Program, Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) Green Label Plus Program, and Resilient Floor Covering Institute’s (RFCI) Floor Score program.
Our solvent free and extremely low VOC adhesives have been well accepted, even preferred, by installers since we were the first to introduce the technology to the industry over two decades ago. Taylor has been the pacesetter in green technology, in the flooring adhesive industry, being the first to pass the stringent testing from both CRI Green Label Plus®, UL 2818 – GREENGUARD® and Cradle to Cradle certification programs.
